Beige

Rocking an all beige outfit with a little hint of silver on a gorgeous warm day last week (likely the last bit of sun we, Vacouverites, will have in a long time). I'm so bad with being punctual on posting these looks closer to the dates they were actually taken on, because now it's gloomy and damp outside. Even though I don't like the rain that fall will bring, I am looking forward to changing the wardrobe choices up.

Cut Out

Enjoying the last bit of summer in Vancouver in as little clothing as I can legally get away with in Romeo and Juliet Couture cut out hem top (buying this next) // Hermes "Hapi" leather and "Clic Clac" enamel bracelets // Forever21 shorts // Chanel mini classic flap (similar vintage Chanel and Chanel mini in white caviar) // Christian Louboutin 'Brigitte' espadrille (similar version by Hogan)

My-Wardrobe is offering a chance to win a 3.1 Philip Lim Pashli satchel - click on the link for more info.

I am also drooling over the scarf shown below. Don't you think it will add a nice touch to any fall outfits? Click on photos to see price and where to buy.

Happy weekend!

Tulle Twirl

I love structured jackets, pleats, romantic fabric and a cinched waist. This look was inspired by a vintage Christian Dior ad and Carrie Bradshaw. To me, there's just something incredibly feminine and delicate about combining something structural and soft tulle together. The girly girl in me had so much fun twirling around in this outfit.

Ports 1961 peplum cut structured tweed jacket // belt borrowed from Kelly (my lovely photographer and friend) // DG tulle skirt (gifted) // Oscar de la Renta butterfly sandals

The talented photographer ~ Thank you Kelly, for the amazing photos!

Back to Basic and Phillip Lim for Target

Sometimes a simple tee paired with a printed silk scarf can give an outfit such a different look. I got this Club Monaco top for $15 from $49.99; talk about a deal! I didn't want to do the typical tee and jeans look so decided to wear mine with tailored shorts and a printed scarf to add graphic visual interest.

Also very excited about the Phillip Lim for Target designer collaboration coming out on September 15th. I am really hoping that the line will be available online as I am in Canada. Below are some of the pieces I crave from the collection. What do you think about the sister (less expensive) version of the Pashli-like bags? Yay or nay?
